1.3 The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below) and CO reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any individual or company at its absolute discretion.
1.4 CO may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
2. DESCRIPTION AND PRICE OF THE GOODS
2.1 The description and (subject to clause 2.4) the price of the goods you order will be shown on CO’s current website at the time you place your order.
2.2 All drawings, descriptive matter, specifications contained on CO’s website are published or issued for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them. They will not form part of this contract.
2.3 The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available from stock, CO will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card or PayPal account for the goods.
2.4 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on CO’s website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is discovered CO will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If you choose to cancel, CO will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card or PayPal account for the goods.
2.5 All prices shown on CO’s website include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable.
3. PAYMENT
3.1 Payment for the goods can be made by any method shown on CO’s website at the time you place your order. Regrettably, we can no longer accept cheque payment for goods.
3.2 Transactions are accepted in either Pounds Sterling, or Euro.
4. DELIVERY
4.1 The goods you order will be delivered to the address you specified in your account. If the goods are to be delivered to a different address, this must be specified at the time the order is placed and cannot be changed afterwards.
4.2 Goods are normally despatched within 24 hours where possible. During busy periods and especially during The Sale, this time period will be extended. CO will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this instance, CO will inform you as soon as possible.
5. CANCELLATION
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund up to and including the 7th day after receipt. Please note that the refund due will be reduced by any shipping costs originally paid by us to deliver the goods to you.
5.1 If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to CO at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown at 1.1 above. You must take care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
5.2 If for any reason you decide not to keep an item, you can return it for a refund or replacement. Non faulty items must be returned in their original packaging where appropriate and must be in an unused condition. Please note that the refund due will exclude any shipping costs originally paid by us to deliver the goods to you.
5.3 Once you have notified CO that you are cancelling the contract, CO will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you.
6. WARRANTY
6.1 If the goods CO will deliver to you are not as ordered or are damaged, defective or of incorrect quantity, CO’s liability shall be limited to replacing the damaged or defective products or if replacement goods are not available, CO will issue a refund.
CO shall not be liable for failure to deliver goods ordered by you unless notified within 42 days of the date of the original order. CO’s liability will be limited to delivering the goods ordered or refunding the price and delivery charges of the non-delivered goods.
6.2 Faulty items will be exchanged but it is your responsibility to return them to us. Please contact us in advance of returning any goods so that the method of carriage and destination address can be agreed. (We may require that you send the faulty goods direct to the manufacturer).
Replacements will only be dispatched on receipt of the faulty item and your return carriage costs will be refunded by CO.
6.2 CO, its employees and other agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit or any other form of compensation. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be construed to limit CO’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
6.3 This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. DATA PROTECTION
7.1 CO will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and Payment secure, but unless CO is proven to have been negligent, CO will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
7.2 You can correct any information we hold about you, or ask for information about you to be deleted, either by logging into your account or by giving written notice to CO at the address, telephone number or email address shown at 1.1 above.
